When you join a queue, we collect:
- Name — to identify you in the queue
- Phone number — to send SMS notifications about your queue status
- Group size — to inform the creator
- SMS consent — your agreement to receive text messages
We do not require account creation for fans. No passwords, emails, or payment information are collected from fans.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to:
- Manage your position in the queue
- Send transactional SMS notifications (join confirmation, your turn, voided, queue closed)
- Display your name to the creator managing the queue
3. SMS & Phone Number Usage
Your phone number is used exclusively for queue-related SMS notifications. We do not sell, share, or use your phone number for marketing purposes. Phone numbers are stored in E.164 format and retained only for the duration of the queue session.
Message frequency varies based on queue activity (typically 1–4 messages per queue session). Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact support@magicqapp.com.
4. Data Retention
Queue participation data (name, phone number) is retained for operational purposes and automatically purged after the event concludes. We do not maintain long-term profiles of fan data.
5. Third-Party Services
We use AWS (Amazon Web Services) to deliver SMS messages via Amazon SNS. Your phone number is transmitted to AWS for message delivery. AWS's privacy practices are governed by the AWS Privacy Policy.
6. Your Rights
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at support@magicqapp.com.
